8 Ball Tongue Bar are standard sized barbell piercing jewellery for tongues or nipples but they have an acrylic 8 ball on the end. The bar section and end ball is still surgical steel. We love the cool billiard 8 balls of this jewellery. They looks amazing under a UV light. Our customers love the 8 balls. Perfect for you pool or snooker or billiards players out there.
The great thing about acrylic balls is that it is a safer option for protecting your teeth. It is so much better for the teeth than surgical steel. An acrylic ball is more likely to break before your tooth does, if you should happen to crutch down on it – which we don’t of course recommend that you do! Way cheaper to get another ball, than a dentist bill.
8 Ball Tongue Bar is also perfect for tongue or nipple piercings.
Barbell style piercing jewellery is composed of a straight bar and with a bead on each end. One or both beads is unscrew-able. Perfect for removal and changing of the balls. With this barbell, both balls unscrew for easy changing and removal.
What is Surgical steel SS316L?
This means they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.
If you’re wearing surgical steel SS316L   jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium. Please note that this is generally quite rare to be allergic to this metal.
The UV ball on the end of the jewellery is not suitable for autoclave (the ball is acrylic).
