Description

Basic labret lip bar is the standard use for lip piercings.  We sell 14 gauge {1.6 mm bigger hole}and 16 gauge {1.2 mm smaller hole} We also have a large range of sizes, from 6 mm long to 14 mm long, so it can fit your piercing perfectly! The 16 gauge is more popular as lip piercing jewellery these days, because it leaves a smaller scar on the face if removed. Basic Labret Lip Bar is our cheapest and plainest and most popular lip piercing jewellery. You can easily add a jewelled ball to this labret lip bar or keep it with the plain ball it comes with. It is always good to have an extra ball in case you lose one. It is a piercing that can close easily, if left without jewellery within the piercing. Our customers love that we have all the millimeter sizes.

Ball at the ends of the lip bar will unscrew and can be replaced with any other body jewellery ball with a matching gauge thread. It just depends whether you wear a thin 16 gauge  or thick 14 gauge bar.

Both the bar and the ball are made from surgical steel SS 316L. This mean they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Stainless Steels (SS316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.

If you’re wearing surgical steel  SS 316L  jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium. Although we must say, this is most rare.
