Dangling flower belly bar is 14 gauge and 10 mm in length which is the standard size for belly piercings. Made from surgical steel and sterling silver 92.5. This Dangling Flower Belly Bar is a wee bit more expensive because of the sterling silver content. But this will mean it will last longer and if it tarnishes it can be polished back to new again.
Ball at the top end of the bar unscrews and can be replaced with any other body jewellery ball with a 14 gauge thread.
Both the belly bar 14 gauge stem and its top ball are made from surgical steel 316L. This mean they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Stainless Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.
If you’re wearing SS 316L  jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium.
Flower and dangling links are made from sterling silver and features a 92.5 stamp, this means it is 92.5% fine silver with no more than 7.5% of copper or other metals. This formula is internationally accepted and it gives sterling silver the hardness and the tolerance to work with. Anything higher than 92.5 would be too soft and tarnish too quickly. When you buy sterling silver from us we can guarantee it is just that!
To preserve the shine on your silver avoid contact with ammonia, alcohol, fingernail polish remover or turpentine. ALWAYS remove sterling silver jewellery while in chlorinated water.
