Fleck Fingerless gloves are interchangeable as mittens or fingerless gloves. Get your fingers out of the cold, then pop the flap back over to make mittens. There is a small coconut button on the top of the fleck fingerless gloves, that you can attach the mitten flap to, if you need to use your fingers.

These fingerless mittens are unisex! Though we find our guy customers don’t like the red ones as much as the browns, natural tones and blacks!  Our customers love these for hunting, after a surf, tramping, fishing or when they are out and about and need to use your fingers and still keep them warm. There is nothing worse than trying to tie knots or fix things and then needing to take off your gloves and hold them between your legs. These gloves are a great solution for continuing to do things while your fingers but remaining warm.

What is wool?

Wool is a wonderful product to wear as it breathes and stays warm even if it becomes damp. It is great for the outdoors.  Our woolen products are imported from Nepal and hand knitted by Nepalese woman. In buying this product you are supporting the Nepalese in this cottage industry and at this price you actually would be hard pushed to knit it for the same cost, in terms of wool expense and labour.  It is wonderful to think the wool has gone as a raw product to Nepal, been hand knitted by people way less fortunate than New Zealanders and sent back as a finished product. I feel good about this product and love that it helps those with less than us!!

Tips for washing

Fleck Fingerless gloves are easy to wash. Just pop them in the washing machine and use a wool detergent and the wool cycle. Lie flat to dry and hey presto done.
