Care Tips

Viscose is often referred to as “faux silk” and goes by the everyday name of rayon. If your poncho needs washing, gently hand wash in cool water. Or you can also gentle cycle wash it in a cold water setting. I can never be bothered by the hand washing when it is so much easier to machine wash. Just make sure you wash it separately to other items.

If washing by hand place your winter poncho in cool or temperate water and add washing detergent. Gently work and massage the soap suds into the clothing, taking care not to handle the clothing roughly. Never squeeze, bunch up, or wring out rayon clothing to remove water, as this can tear the delicate fibers. Instead, gently shake any excess moisture out, smooth out any creases or wrinkles with your hands and air dry flat, or on a washing line.
