Nana knitted slippers are hand knitted in Nepal with New Zealand wool. Just like Nana would make! Comfy knitted slippers to keep your feet warm and toasty all year round. These wool slippers come in a range of different colours and patterns. Just choose your favourite! These knitted slippers are also available lined, if this is preferred. There is a choice of medium and large now. Guys can fit the large. These unlined slippers are a bit more stretchy than the lined. So they are a better choice if you are worried about the size. Our customers love these Nana knitted slippers. We sell lots of them. There are not many left this year, as the shipment was very tricky to get in. Re ordering is difficult due to Covid problems in Nepal.

Wool

Wool is a wonderful product to wear as it breathes and stays warm even if it becomes damp. It is great for the outdoors.  Our woollen products are imported from Nepal and hand knitted by Nepalese woman. In buying this product you are supporting the Nepalese in this cottage industry and at this price you actually would be hard pushed to knit it for the same cost, in terms of wool expense and labour.  It is wonderful to think the wool has gone as a raw product to Nepal, been hand knitted by people way less fortunate than New Zealanders and sent back as a finished product. I feel good about this product and love that it helps those with less than us!!

Tips for washing

It is easy to wash. Just pop it in the washing machine and use a wool detergent and the wool cycle. Lie flat to dry and hey presto done. As long as you do not hot wash wool, then it will not shrink.
