Pill tongue bars look as if you have a pill sitting on your tongue. They look awesome under a UV light. You can unscrew the ball and the pill. It is great that they are made of acrylic, as this is easy on the teeth. There is less chance of teeth clipping from biting onto a steel ball.
PLEASE NOTE
The UV pill component  is made of  acrylic and can not be  autoclaved as it would melt it. It may crack if soaked for too long in disinfectant chemicals.  It is not suitable for initial piercings. It is not recommended for use in brand new piercing. Let the piercing heal for the recommended time first.
Surgical steel
The Pill Tongue Bars are made from surgical steel SS316L. This means they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.
If you’re wearing surgical steel SS316L   jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium. Please note that this is generally quite rare to be allergic to this metal.
Piercing Care
Wash your piercing daily. Use a Q-Tip dipped in warm water to wipe and remove any built up crust from around the piercing site. Do this very gently, avoiding moving the jewellery around too much. Then, gargle with antibacterial after-care.
