Spike Nipple Bar is a straight 14 gauge bar with spikes on each end. 14 guage is the standard size used for nipple piercings. We sell a large range of lengths, from 6 mm to 20 mm long. Spike Nipple Bar is perfect to fit your piercing! You can also choose which sized spikes you would like as well.
Nipple Piercing Sizes
A man nipple generally uses a standard 12 mm or 14 mm bar. If there is no swelling and the piercing has healed, simply measure with a ruler the length form one hole to the other.
A woman nipple needs to be measured as there are a great range of sizes. If the jewellery is for an initial piercing, choose an extra 4 mm to allow for swelling.
Spikes at both ends of the bar unscrew and can be replaced with any other body jewellery balls with a 14 gauge thread. We have sparkling balls too if you want to add some sparkle.
Surgical Steel meaning
Both the 14 gauge bar and the spikes are made from surgical steel 316L. This mean they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Stainless Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.
If you’re wearing SS 316L jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium.
