Star Belly Button Jewellery features a bold star on the bottom ball and we just love its simplicity. This Star Belly Button Jewellery is perfect for your friend who is such a star, or your teenager for starring so well at school or in sports.  It is 14 gauge and 8 mm in length, which is the standard size for healed belly piercings. It is recommended to pierce with a 10 mm bar so this item is  unsuitable for an initial piercing.

Ball at the top end of the bar unscrews and can be replaced with any other body jewellery ball with a 14 gauge thread.

What is surgical steel?

Both the Star Belly Button Jewellery bar 14 gauge stem and the ball are made from surgical steel 316L. This mean they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Stainless Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.

If you’re wearing surgical steel  jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium.

Please soak in alcohol for five minutes before putting into your piercing to make sure it is completely clean.
