Star Moon Belly Bar features a gorgeous jewelled flower with sparkling cubic zirconia and stars and moon surrounding each crystal. We love the beautiful flower. It is 14 gauge and 10mm in length which is the standard size for belly piercings. The stem section that goes into the body and the flower is made from surgical steel.  This helps to prevent allergies or reactions to lesser metals.

Ball at the top end of the bar unscrews and can be replaced with any other body jewellery ball with a 14 gauge thread.

Surgical steel meaning

Both the Flower Jewelled Belly Bar  14 gauge stem and its top ball are made from surgical steel 316L. This mean they are implant-grade surgical stainless steel – it is probably the most common and most widely used metal for body piercings. Surgical Stainless Steels (316L) are used for bone fixation screws, body pins, bone plates, staples, amongst many other applications. We do not play or gamble with your health.

If you’re wearing SS 316L  jewellery and are having problems with irritation or a new piercing that just won’t heal, it is possible that you have a intolerance of surgical steel and might want to try titanium.
